What Exercises are Good for Improving your Bowling?

What areas do you need to work on to be a better bowler? I once read that Eric Miller did a lot of core work and leg work. I can't always head to a bowling center to practice, but I can hit the exercise room multiple times a week.

This is a good question and I will be more than happy to answer this. Bowling really involves a lot of muscles, so if you are series about improving your bowling, you could do a whole workout regimen, including compound movement exercises such as chip ups, squats, dead lifts, and shoulder presses (or military presses). Those would be the most important ones I would focus on. You could also do bench press but I don't think the chest muscles are involved a whole lot with bowling as much as the shoulders are. You could also benefit from doing calve raises and bicep curls. Cardio is not that important as bowling is more anaerobic which does not involve increasing your heart rate much. If you are serious about improving your overall fitness and muscle development, you should check out Ripped Naturally's Workout Articles. Just follow one of the workout plans there and you should be good to go.

If you need additional info on improving your bowling game you can check out the Bowling For Dummies, there is a small price for it, but it's well worth it in my opinion.  Good luck and keep practicing!
